Morning- the beginning and the end :)

It was such a wonderful day, it was a pity to get up' - Somerset Maugham

The weather is wearing her magical robe and letting us rest in her lap as each day emerges with a calmness and holds its pure silence. I wake up not wanting to disturb the magic and walk out to embrace her and feel the beauty in her to an extent that I want to posess her in everything that I do.

I walk and I am awakened by the honk, by the cars that pass by, by the clock ticking away, by the sun trying to peek through the gray of the clouds, by the many birds who seem to be flying away in unison from a chaos that they don’t seem to understand –

there is a music that seems to be playing in my ears and it gets affected by the world’s knocks of attention-

I realize that there exists a mysterious yet visible line between the magic that is in me and the world’s progress in its everyday indulgences

There are times when these lines disappear as quickly as they appear :)

..and as I walked I saw a reflection - a sparkling blissful smile, bright yellow clothes and someone who could magically transform her form to entertain her fellow beings (unknowns)

She stands at the same junction each day, waiting for the traffic light to change into its bright red from its lollipop yellow to its green which seems to scream ‘go, hurry up’ but as the light pauses and comes back to the red

the girl clad in yellow dances and transforms into an acrobat worthy of an Olympic gold…

All of a sudden looses interest -
in the antics she’s painfully yet perfectly creating for the beings who stare at her in awe, with slight suspicion and sometimes disgust as she asks them for a teeny reward for her efforts..

While she looses interest in that next meal which many a strangers were responsible for rewarding

she seems to share that dream that the weather invites me into :) it seems to tell her ‘go ahead – have your fun’

she collects tiny pebbles from the street and starts throwing them at the unknowns who are collectively meditating for that switch in the color – red to green ..

When they look back in irritation, she smiles and laughs with an innocence that only the weathers magic could hold - and the irritation seems to vanish as unknown saw his/her reflection in the glint of mischief that the little girl held in her glowing eyes…

I walk on and the music is playing again and I smile at the unknowns :)
