" Good friends, good books and a sleepy conscience - an ideal life" Mark Twain
Well! a quote that goes well with my life:) A good book and a great friend would make my day anyday:)
2 weeks ago, on a beautiful Sunday afternoon I spent time with my dear friends from school-Rashu, Forlin, Pavi, Sabbu and Shabbu.
Each of them are like multiple flavors - flavors that are distinct yet powerful :) they contribute to making a delight outta my Life :)
They are funny and fabulous at the same time...
Rashu - soft spoken and gentle, always lending an ear and ensuring that we all met, her belief in maktub has made us all believe in the power of the stars :)
Forlin- beautiful and charming, an angel whose joie de vivre is infectious- her anecdotes kept us going :)
Pavi - simple and sensitive, her natural talent for dancing is evident in the many expressions that spread a smile on all our faces- she was and will be the one we would all take care of (being a few months younger definitely helps sweetz)
Sabbu-versatile, sensible and definitely one whose grit is evident in the many things she pursues - she added the japanese dimension to the lunch- her life in Japan and interactions with them clearly made us realise that they cannot be as identical as they seem :)
Shabbu- silent is what one would percive but shes one witty miss :) she laughs or lets call it giggles and the world giggles with her..pretty and precious as ever!
Elements was where we met where the food had succinct flavors which made us go yummmmyummm followed by a walk in the park which brought back many memories -of groups we belonged to, lunches we had, moral science classses and.... the animal models strewn around brought out the story teller in each of us :)
A chance bumping into another friend who seemed more shocked than surprised to see all of us together after soo many years and a few pics in the school that we all went to... the day ended pleasantly with a slight drizzle which added to the spring in our step as we continue to dance to the tune of friendship...
A funny quote to end this memorable record -"A true friend is someone who thinks that you are a good egg even though he knows that you are slightly cracked."
