Lines written on the shore of a sacred sea

The cosmos is a term that am fond of, but a term that I cannot define or understand for all that it symbolizes,

As I sat on the beach, I heard the bell ringing,
Did it ring to dispel the negative forces around us?
Did it ring to draw our attention to the power of the divine?
Or did it ring to amuse the little baby which smiled in wonderment,
It rang to me to make me a part of the magic of the panchabhootas

The water washed my feet,
The land held on to me,
The sun embraced me with his warmth,
The wind caressed my face and refreshed my being,
I felt one with the world…

The being is at times mistaken to the form that exists,
But isn’t the being beyond the visible form,
As I gazed at the sun, and as the time moved on,
I could feel different sensations within and around,
Its when I realized the being that is me is in all the things that touched me

As the water held the colors around it and within it,
I sunk into everything that surrounded me,
The tree nodded by waving its branch,
The dog swam into the sea with the little child giggling away,
The woman became malleable as her being extended into forms she didn’t know but could only feel,
The glint of gold in her hair made the sun smile and the wind sang to signify his evident joy

The bell continued to ring in her mind, in the being she was part of
The onlooker saw her as a speck in the multiverse,
Looked like a blob and like a bloom all at once,
It was in my eyes as I saw it,
The onlooker and me became one with her, the sea, the sun and the multiverse…
